My real estate career started back in 1998. I was working for a small car dealership when the owner said he thought I would be a good real estate agent. I had no thoughts of going into real estate. But he gave me an offer I could not refuse. He said, "If you find a real estate class to attend, I will pay for you to go." He was true to his word and I started attending classes. The more I went to class, the more I grew to love what I was learning. I didn't do anything for two years with my license. Then I found a mentor in Rockingham, NC who had his own agency. He took me under his wings and taught me well. After learning to fly, I ventured out on my own with my own agency for many years.
In 2018, I was looking for a great company who could give me the technology and support I needed to compete and succeed. I found United Real Estate-Queen City and have never been happier. I was impressed with what they offered and when I found out it was a small flat fee per transaction and not a percentage, I literally said, "Where do I sign?" Having more money per transaction has been such a blessing for me and has allowed me to do all of the things I needed to do and some of the things I want to do. But more than having income, I have an occupation I love and it has allowed me to help others. And that is my greatest accomplishment.

I have always looked for ways to serve my community and country, beginning with being active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years and later joining the United States Marine Corps. I have been an active member of my church as head Elder for 20 years.
During that time, I have had careers as an Assistant Accounts Manager at Pepsico, a successful career in financial services offering family and income protection products and plans, and as an Area Manager for a national marketing and advertising company in San Diego and Imperial counties.
